This was our New Year's Eve party at Ken and Amy's house. The party started around 7:00PM and ended after Midnight (of course). The attendees were: Amy and Ken Canary Chris "Fabio" Canary Bo Boswell (That's me) Traci Turner (That's my ho) Kennye and Jared Holt Amy and Jamie Heather Barnes Bryan Metzger "Dags" in attendance: Peyton (courtesy of Amy and Ken) Lucy (courtesy of Jared and Kennye) Chloe (courtesy of Heather and Brian) Traci (courtesy of Bo) :) Jeremy Mason was supposed to come, but he called a little after 7:00 and said he wasn't feeling too well. Not long after eating we started up a good round of Battle of the Sexes. Amy and Jamie left right before we started playing, and then Heather and Brian showed up after we'd played only a few rounds. It was the males vs. females: the males gained victory with little effort. Then, Cranium was broken out. After Kennye spilled her wine on the board, the women defeated the men; however, this was due to the fact that certain inebriated males (Ken and Chris) kept giving hints that got progressively better throughout the game. "Bitch" was the most common answer blurted out by the males. After the men's disheartening defeat, the crowd gravitated toward the kitchen/porch area. Soon, midnight came and our party came to an end. Below are the pics that were taken throughout the night. Captions are included where necessary. |
