Jeremy Hunt

As we drive towards Jared and Kennye's house I do get a little worried for there were possibly too many people on this venture, but there was no way I was going to back out because, well, I'm just not like that. I will say I had a bad feeling about it. But I'm glad I didn't follow my instinct.

First we pass the place and turn around in a driveway. I think to myself, "What if this is the owners house." I didn't say anything though. Brooke and Heather drop us off at the house and we all go courageously to the house. It didn't really seem scary at all this time maybe because there were so many people. I go for the front door again to check for entrances. I concluded that there was no way in without destroying property so I think we all decided against it. Maybe I speak for myself.

We make rounds, pictures are being taken, flashlights blaring, I started to feel a little uneasy. I say, "guys, WT's is very visible from here right now. (not sure if anyone heard me) I see several more cars over there." I thought it was the others preparing a trick on us at this time. I looked around and thought that if it was cops. If it was I'm sure they knew someone is here. I mumble "We should look for an escape path." I was kind of joking but was serious at the same time. I think someone said, "huh?" I saw a car coming. I think most everyone thought it was Brooke but I begged to differ. I think I said "Guy's that not Brooke," because I saw a little red light inside of the vehicle. I don't know if my words were audible however.

Suddenly the vehicle accelerates towards us. With my peripheral vision I see people starting to run so I run as well. I jump the fence behind the place. And run a quarter of a mile behind the place into a land of ten billion fields separated by trees and bushes. I remain there for about 15 or so minutes wondering where everyone else went. I was still rather calm because I just knew it was the others playing a trick on us or just me. I just had that feeling since he backed out the last minute. I hoped everyone else got away. I didn't think it was cops because I never saw lights. It could have been some loon. The more I thought the more I worried.

I then called Bo to see what was up. I thought I would be able to tell in his voice whether it was a joke or not. I asked him. As he talked it leaned towards a I-told-you-so type voice like there was hint of laughter. Maybe he though we were playing a joke on him. I forgot the exact words but we hung up and he said he would call me when he found out something. I waited. I thought I would just sit here and let everyone laugh it up. I began a plot to get them back. I headed back towards the house some then I stop and sit down for a while.

I call Bo back and he tells me it would be best to go back to the front so no one else gets in trouble for trying to cover for me. He also tells me Brian, "Brooke's Brian", had a gun on him and everyone's name has been taken. Bo says no one is pressing charges. He first says the cops are taken everyone home. He then says Brian is going to get his truck and take everyone. At this point comes the wtf. I didn't want to go back. After I hang up I started to go back to the house. Bo calls again and tells me Brian says to stay put. As I'm going back I see a faint light. I start going the other way again. As I sprint Bo calls me back and tells me Brian is left with everyone. In a way I was relieved because now I didn't have to go back to the cops. I then stop and look back. I realize the faint light is a flashlight coming towards me. I run like the wind.

Behind the house is a huge open field bordered by trees. I wanted to go down the road so headed where I saw cars go by. I knew I couldn't go across the field or I would be spotted. My phone rings but I don't answer. I decide to go around the border of the field staying as close to the trees as possible. That way no one would spot me. I realize that I lost my little Maglight at this point and am very saddened. I go towards the road and the tall lighted tower. It looks so very close. I talk to Bo and Traci the remainder of the time as they're trying to figure out where Im at. I tell them I'm on down Old Salem so they go down New Salem looking for me. I think I am just a bit down the road from the house but I was mistaken. There was a lot of confusion and frustration at this time and I feel really bad for that. I didn't see them go by on Old Salem so I concluded I must be on Rucker. Of course, I couldn't remember the name of it. I tell them to take the first right turn which was right, but I also tell them I'm beside the lighted tower which seemed right from my view of things. This confusion went on for quite awhile. Bo said that he hoped I'd die from a diabetic coma. I hung out in the bushes waiting for them to find me. Traci finally came to the rescue and I was free again. I was no longer a fugitive.

We all made it back safe. I am glad. Yes, knowing we all were ok, I'd definitely do it again. Lots of lessons were learned that night, lessons that people of our age should have already learned probably. I'd just like to say that this whole shin-dig was Bo's idea and for that I would like to thank him. I can't help but to think that Cheadle had something to do with this too.

But, I did notice something odd. Justin noticed it too. (which by the way erased all the pics with me in it to keep the cops from knowing I was there. Thanks man) There is a door on the second floor going outside to nowhere but the roof.

I've personally concluded that the place is not haunted, but we'll still never know. I'll never go back to the place. That's for sure. This house is spooky. The old man said his mom died there. What is inside that house? Is there a pink dress cleaned and pressed in the house? What the heck is hanging on the side porch? Where did the mist come from? Do you hear music when you try to go in the mysterious door?
