Ghost Hunters:
Bo Boswell
Chris Canary
Jared Holt
Jeremy Mason

6:00pm - We met at Camino Real on Cason Lane. Traci, Kennye, Amy, and Ken were on hand for dinner. Elizabeth and Jay showed up as we were finishing our meal. We discussed several horror movies to watch, but were unable to reach a conclusion. We decided to just go look at what the movie store had for us.

7:00-7:15pm - Went to Hollywood Video and decided to rent The Exorcist. It was "The Version We Hadn't Seen." We then headed to the Holts' house.

8:00-8:15pm - Jeremy arrived and we started the so-called Scariest Movie Ever Made. It started out very slow and I began to question whether or not we should've gotten 28 Days Later. I'm still not too sure that I wouldn't have rather seen that. Elizabeth and Jay left in the middle of the movie because Jay had to prepare for his Sunday School lesson the next morning. The rest of us stuck through the movie and it turned out to be a decent film.

10:30-11:00pm - The movie ended and we decided to get on with the Hunt. Traci, Kennye, Amy, and Ken didn't want to join us, so the rest of us brave souls hit the road. We found the driveway to the house without any problem. Because of the rain the night before, the driveway had several mud puddles, so I was afraid to pull all the way in because of the possibility of getting stuck. I pulled out of the driveway and tried to find a good place to park near the driveway, but there wasn't any, so we decided to try the driveway again.

We were able to get past the big mud puddle without problem. We turned around in the driveway and faced the car toward the road in case we needed a quick getaway. I left the car running...you know..."just in case."

There were several run-down cars in the driveway. The house was much bigger than I expected. According to the stories I'd heard, if you reached for the front door, then music started playing. Unfortunately, there was no longer any front door because they'd all been boarded up. Jeremy said that we had to actually go in the house to reach the door that now played music. I was discouraged to go inside, so we just decided to walk around the house to see what we found.

There was one spooky moment. When we first walked up to the house, Jeremy headed toward the front porch. Right before he got to it, there was a loud bang. I couldn't tell if it was wood falling on wood, if it was something metal falling, or if it was inside or outside the house, but there was definately something because we all heard it. I have to admit, I was ready to start heading toward the car. But, I forced myself to feed off the bravery of my compadres and further explore the outside of the house. The details of our exploration can be seen in the following pics.

As we were heading home, Jeremy said that he wanted to go back to go inside the house. After debate, I turned the car around and headed back. We were almost to the turn off when Jared said, "Holy shit, guys. What is that?" I pulled over at W.T.'s Market and we examined Jared's pictures. He had taken a picture of Jeremy going toward the house, but there was a faint fog between Jeremy and the camera. I looked at my pics and found that I had a similar picture of Jeremy walking toward the house and there was also a faint fog in my picture as well.

After seeing this unexplained fog in our pics, I made the decision to head back to Jared's house. We'll save the other explorations for another time.

The remainder of the night was spent talking about our Hunt. It was good times. I look forward to the next Ghost Hunt.

I took this pic outside of Camino Real. I'm pretty proud of it. I think my old B&W Photo teacher would approve.

Elizabeth and Jay joined us. If we had gotten caught for trespassing, it would've been ok, because Elizabeth had Subway for dinner. Unfortunately, Subway doesn't compare to Quizno's or their commercials.

After the movie, Jeremy shows off the flashlight he brought with him. In case you can't find it, it's the tiny little black thing in his hand.
