This was our trip to chattanooga to hang with Kim and Greg. Traci and I headed up around 9am that morning. We stopped in Manchester to pick up Kim's ring, and noticed how easy it was to get them to give it to us; nothing to sign, no id...
We arrived at Kim's apartment around lunchtime and went to eat at some little restaurant in the old part of town. They have some pretty good potato-ball things, but the waiter pissed off Kim because he filled up Greg's glass with water when he was drinking tea.
We stopped at the old book store and I purchased "The Tao of Pooh". After that, we headed to the pottery place to paint some pottery. Traci painted a bowl, Greg painted a plate, and I copied off Kim and we both painted a Sake Set. After all that, we headed back to their place, but not before taking a ride up "W" road. It was pretty interesting, I'd like to go back some time and take more pics of it. Back at Kim's place, we started in on the egg rolls. Before long, the dudes were drinking Jack and the fems were drinking martinis. We started off with Cranium. Us dudes ended up coming back to win that. We moved on to Battle of the Sexes, but we stopped early because everyone was getting mad. Rook finished up the night, and again the dudes dominated the game. We crashed there for the night and woke up early the next morning to bacon and biscuits that Greg had made. All in all, a very good weekend. Thanks again, Kim and Greg, for having us. As you will notice, there aren't any pics of Kim and Greg. This isn't because I have anything against them, I just didn't know how well they'd like having their picture taken and displayed on my page. |
